Ah, you read on, so you must forgive me. Thank you. Let me reward you with a video of Owen delighting in his food.
Other fun things of note in our busy lives:
Owen is standing up on his own, much to our delight, but mostly to his own. He looks so thrilled when he stands there, with his arms raised out to balance himself and a huge grin on his face. He usually lasts a few seconds before throwing himself forward into our arms, pleased as punch. Does this mean he'll be walking soon?
The boys have dropped their morning nap and now just take a long siesta in the afternoon. It means a pretty busy morning, lots of play, a few tears close to lunchtime and the occasional droopy eyelids in highchairs, but it seems to work so far. I always dreaded the dropping of the morning nap, but I think we can all handle it. So far so good. It'll be when we get rid of the afternoon nap that I'll really be in trouble! If they don't nap, when will I?!
They both play peekaboo with me when we're eating, although they're still getting the hang of it. Will covers his mouth and nose with one hand, whilst Owen usually grabs the side of his head and smooshes his face. Its adorable! Messy, especially when we're eating pasta or tuna fish sandwiches, but adorable nontheless.
The basement is now usuable, and we've had lots of fun play sessions in there since Saturday. The first time Mark and I took the boys down there, they just basically did laps of the room, crawling as fast as they could. Owen was so excited he kept bouncing up and down and clapping and Will just giggled the whole time. Now if that doesn't make it worth all the wait, I don't know what does! Bill and Susan, thank you so much for coming down to the Big Smoke to make that room a reality.
Mark and I went to Cirque Du Soleil with the firm on Thursday - Annie and Paul were lovely enough to babysit the boys for us - and had a great time. Such a cool show, they really have got the whole thing down to a fine art. Anyway, it was a pretty thrilling night out.
I'm sure there's more, but I've got to go to bed. If there's no naptime in the mornings anymore, I need to be fresh as a daisy for my cheeky monkeys or else we'll all be crying by lunchtime.
Oh, and did I mention William and Owen are going to be one in a week? I know, I know, its shocking. I'm sure I'll be posting more about my shock this week. Right, my bed is calling me. Bon nuit!

I was thinking about your boys turning a year old as on the same day, Nathan will be 18 months old. Wow... time flies when you're having fun.(:
Do you have any special plans for their Birthday, a birthday party, cake or anything up your sleeve?
I'll be excited to see the pictures.
Take care and yes I hear yeah on the nap thing. I nap everyday when Nathan naps, I haven't missed one since I've gotten pregnant.(:
Jenna
Yay, you're back! We were starting to get withdrawal symptoms...! Gillian xx
Thanks guys!
Jenna, the big plan for the birthday right now is to go to the zoo with Daddy (who is taking the day off work, yay!) on the 17th and then have a little shindig with friends on the 20th - also Gwamma Beans' birthday. The thing on the 20th is more for Mark and I to see our friends and show off the boys, since I don't think they're really going to get it, but I'll take lots of photos anyway!
I am glad you are back - I was wondering where you guys had got to!! xx
