Two Months Old Already?

Time is rushing along - how is it May already? Elliot is two months old, more alert and wiggly, smiley, talkative (coo-ative?) than ever. Each day shows us more of her smiley-girl personality (unless she's tired, then find a soother and a comfy place for her to sleep, STAT!) and what a good baby she is. Everyone talks about "good babies", but she's such an angel. She sleeps through all the noise her brothers make right next to her head, loves baths, likes the car seat once we're moving, eats well and is just so adorable and cuddly!

I don't have time to write much more today - the boys have coughs and have been up since 5:30am and are now clamouring for breakfast - so I have to go, but here's a couple of blurry shots taken with Mark's blackberry from last night when Jack decided to camp down next to Elly. I'm not sure if he was trying to cuddle or smother.

Pasc, I haven't had the boy experience first hand, but I really am convinced that girls are sugar and spice and all things nice for a reason. They generally are easier...at least for the first few years. And now I've probably jinxed myself, hehe.
Enjoy them all, boys and girls! And bravo to you for being capable, wonderful mother of three.

I think it seems that way too, Anita - although maybe I just have to wait and see until Elly is 3 to compare. I seem to recall the boys being pretty good at this age too.
But I have to correct you...I am so FAR from being a capable mum at the moment. I think I've somehow fooled lots of people into thinking I am, which means I should probably write a proper, honest post soon on how I go to bed feeling like I've failed the boys yet again, how I often cry in anger and frustration, how I yell my head off to no avail on a daily basis, despite telling myself I shouldn't, how the tv has become our nanny. Need I go on? I'll write the expose on myself soon so you can see what's really going on here!

Oh honey, you're not the only one, don't worry!!
As Damomma says: as long as they're fed and clothed.... ;-)
