"Dere a baby in dere?"
"Yes," I reply, smiling at him.
"A baby for ME?"
Laughing, "Sure, Will, a baby for you."
Long pause as he mulls this over. Then, "Maybe daddy can have baby for Owie."
Good luck with that, Mark.

At the dating ultrasound, I care less about how far along I am than about how many are in there. I ask the technician to check, then check again. "Make sure they're not hiding behind each other or anything please. I've been surprised before." But no, its just one little fishy, swimming happily away. I'm relieved, but perhaps slightly disappointed too, although I'm not sure why. But now, after a few weeks of getting used to the idea of one, I'm relieved all over again. Memories of those first weeks after the boys were born make sure of that.

The morning I took the pregnancy test, back in June, I was also in the middle of potty training the boys. Remember how I suddenly stopped bloggin about their progress? That's because I was suddenly too busy thinking about a new life to have the patience to continue training. And Owen wasn't exactly ready, so the decision was made to postpone. But the morning I found out, we were still working on it. I took the test at 6:30am, and by 8:30am was trying to clean poop off the couch.
"Owen, please come into the bathroom. We need to clean you up, bud."
"No, I good, mummy."
"Buddy, you have poop all over you. Come into the bathroom, please."
A poopy tussle ensues, but I eventually win and wash up the toddler who could care less about how bad he smells. I get him out of the tub, into new undies and then turn back to the tub to try to clean up the soiled underwear. William comes into the bathroom to see what we're doing and they begin to play with the toothbrushes and hair clips on the counter. Whatever, I just need to get the smell of poop out.
Suddenly I hear, "I want dat. I want dat popsicle." I whip my head around to find Owen with the "popsicle" in his mouth.
'THAT'S NOT A POPSICLE!!!" I scream, as I fling the pregnancy test I had foolishly left on the counter out of his mouth.
Then I start to laugh. Welcome to the world of three children, Pascale. Your new life starts now.

Congrats! So happy to hear of your pregnancy, I'm sure one will be a breeze for you and the good thing is your boys will have each other to keep themselves entertained ...while you have a newborn. If you could choose, I'm sure having twins first would be the way to go.
I also love your kitchen, I even drooled a little.(;
Take care of yourself little mama of three!
Jenna
