Meg and I took turns going to look for our plants, whilst the other mummy would keep an eye on three very curious toddlers. We found the perfect spot to wait though - right next to a bunch of bird baths. Lots of splashing and laughing and some sampling of the very unclean water! Ick!
Very refreshing on a warm spring day
Don't drink the water, Anika!!! And Owen, stop dribbling water down into your shirt, you silly goose.
Then a picnic with some geese and a snake. Yes, a garter snack scared the living daylights out of me as I chased the Canada Geese away from our blanket. He was harmless but I just wasn't expecting to see him there in the park! Oh, and I love how Anika is feeding Owen something in this shot. She's so lovely with the boys.

Hi Pasc, what was it about the snack that scared you - too many calories perhaps?
Hahahahaha! - oopsie! Um, yes, the garter snack was just a little too much fat content for my liking and it scared me, Pops.
Sigh, thanks for pointing it out. I will leave my spelling mistake intact to serve as a lesson to others.
PS - Mark says enquiring minds want to know if the snack "barcs at Bankleys"...snicker snicker.
LOLOLOL - touché Pops :)
