Amber is now officially on mat leave as well as officially overdue. We've hung out a couple of times this week, much to my delight - its so nice to have a friend to chat with during the day and to giggle with me over the boys latest antics. We were quite naughty on Friday and had McDonald's for lunch, the boys' first trip to a fast food restaurant. But they did surprisingly well and actually didn't just suck all the salt off the fries, but also managed to eat some apple slices. It definitely wasn't their healthiest meal to date, but we all had fun and I figure that's what counts the most.
Amber is known for her punctuality and ability to get things done on time, so this little girl's procrastination is doing her poor mummy in! I think Amber would be most grateful if you could all send some "come out, come out wherever you are" vibes to the baby.
