Okay, so the ice wasn't thin, but I maybe, quite possibly worried about it for a bit as we stepped out onto the lake for our walk. But it was so lovely, and the boys (including the adult ones) had fun out there.
Here's the cottage - you can sort of make out our white doggy running happily down the road. He just loves it up there, since we pretty much let him run his little heart out. I think if he had a say in it, Jack would want us to live up there all the time.

So most of the lake was frozen. Just not this one little part at the culvert. But we were walking on another part of the water, I mean ice.
