We've finally had a nice, fun, happy morning after about 4 days of off-ness. What with me feeling nauseous, Mark locked away in the bathroom, Owen slightly feverish and Will wondering what had gotten into everyone, we weren't really at our best for the past few mornings. But we all woke up in good moods this morning so I thought "Right! Time for an outing!" and I bundled up my lambies and out we went to the local outlet mall.
We wandered around for a couple of hours, happily saying hello to everyone we met - the boys were quite flirty with all the shop assistants, which is always cute to watch - I treated the boys to their first ever banana-strawberry smoothie, which they thought was very good, and I bought them a couple of books for $3 at Winners. All in all a successful trip.
They fell asleep in the car on the 10 minute ride home and I very carefully lifted them out. Normally both of them wake up when I try to take them out of their car seats, but they were so out of it that I managed to plop them into the playpen in the living room. Don't they look cute? They only slept for a little while, which is a good thing, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get them to nap after lunch.
I love the way they look when they sleep. There is nothing sweeter than a sleeping child.
Oh, Mark is home from early Detroit, I'm off to say hello!
