I called Mark at work to tell him the news and he was thrilled, of course, but couldn't help saying this was now the "beginning of the end". I think its just the beginning full stop.
So excited, in case you couldn't tell!
Okay, its now a couple of hours later and I've got video proof - although it doesn't do him justice. I didn't think either of them would be walking for at least another month, but he just up and decided to do it this evening. And its not like when he first started standing, where he would do it once, we'd think "neat!" and then it would be three weeks later before he'd do it again. Owen just keeps standing up and walking, its too funny. Will is looking slightly put out that I'm paying so much attention to his brother, and has been rushing over to me and standing up in front of me so that I praise him too (which, of course, I do). I think he might get so jealous of his brother that he'll start soon too.
I hope you enjoy the look on Owen's face as much as I do.

So exciting. Owen's an Olympian for sure. God made him fast, don't you think? And Will later this week. Are you ready for this?
Can hardly wait for Christmas...the walking (no, no, running) will make it lots of fun.
ouh làlà! tatie cece est très fière!!
merci beaucoup pour cette vidéo très très cute!
Too too cute! I love the thrilled look on his face. What a good game!
I love the total ignorance of my sister... Does she not realize that this is the dawn of a new age? I've seen them boys scramble across the floor faster then greased turkey in a tracksuit. Now they're gonna be ramping up in the mobility department... I hope your training runs include sprints, and last minute directional changes, Pasc ;)
More, more. We want more!
Oh my lovely family! Thank you all for writing comments, that was such a nice surprise to wake up to!

Wow, unbelievable! I'm exhausted just watching Owen...he is one determined little boy! I'm sure Will is right behind him in the walking department!
Love to you all :)
OK... I'll chime in too: I can hardly believe it was just July when we were putting them on their stomachs with food/soothers/toys just out of arms reach so they would crawl. NOW look at them! Such amazing little men!
A.
