We've had such a lovely two weeks with my mum - its felt like a long two weeks (but in a good way!) and I think the boys and I are going to be in shock when she leaves tomorrow. I know we'll settle back into a routine by next week, but I just wish that we didn't have to, that she lived here in Toronto instead of London and that we could see her everyday if we chose to. But, having said that, we do see each other every day on MSN for video chats and we're deep in negotiations about Christmas, so maybe it won't be so bad after all. But I tell you, if I won the lottery tomorrow, I would buy the Earth and have my people move Europe closer to Canada so that my mum could still live in London and have her life there, and we could just hop into our lottery-funded, environmentally friendly, highest safety specifications award winning, super dooper Speedmobile (trademark pending) and see her whenever we wanted. Or use our lottery winnings to fund research for a machine that transports you places like in Star Trek. We could do that, right?
