Switching It Up A Bit

I decided this week that enough was enough. It was time to cahnge the boys feeding/napping/bedtime schedule to something a little more normal. Up until now, its been

breakfast at 7:30/8am
bottle at 11am
lunch at 2:3opm
big nap at 3pm until 5:30ish
dinner at 6pm
bottle at 8:30pm
bed at 9pm

Since adding dinner (because it was just a bottle until a couple of weeks ago) the boys were hardly touching their last bottle. So I dopped the 11am bottle and gave watered down juice instead. But then that's been a bit difficult too since they don't quite get the sippy cup thing. So the length of time between breakfast and lunch was quite long and was causing a little bit of grumpiness, I fear. Understandably so though. I mean, I get pretty ticked off when I'm hungry (At this point absolutely everyone who has every lived with me or shared meals with me will be nodding their heads and sighing, saying "ah yes, the dreaded Hungry Pascy. Frightful. Quite frightful."). So after consulting with my my other mummy-chummys, I decided today was the day we switch things around and get down to business.

This means mealtimes and nap times are changing AND we're going to give the high chairs another go. So, the test schedule is now as follows

breakfast 7:30/8am
lunch 12pm
big nap at 1:30/2pm-? (who knows how long they will sleep until...today Owen is awake at 3:30)
dinner at 4:30 ? (we'll see...might be later)
bottle at 7pm
bed at 8pm

Who know if any of this will actually work out as I envision it, but I'm giving it a go today and then we'll see. Wish us luck!

The boys in their high chairs for breakfast

Owen clutching a spoon for dear life. I had to pry it out of his chubby little fingers later on. It could have been the dried on cereal cementing it to his hand though.

Almost got it...almoooost, almooooost.

Aha! Got it! See Mummy?! Told you I could reach that far!
