I'm Tired Mummy, Sooooo Tir-snrgggg

Will and I were playing on the couch when he suddenly passed out last night. So cute. I ran downstairs (praying he wouldn't wake up and roll of the couch) to get the camera.

I think we're pulling the same face almost, no?
Its been a long week this week - poor Mark has been stuck at work until all hours since last Wednesday (including Sunday! none of us were happy about that one) and poor me has been feeling a bit like a single parent. It makes for long days for both Mark and me, but, well, its paying the bills. Hopefully things will calm down enough in the near future so that we can have some family time.

In the meantime, Owen and Will and I have been going out for lovely walks with some new friends - Anindita is the lovely mum of twin 1 year old fraternal twins Aidan and Andrew. Her husband Christopher bumped into me one day when we were out and aboutand gave me their number. We've been walking buddies ever since. Plus, Anindita loves America's Next Top Model too, their dog Willie didn't get eaten by Jack when they met AND they only live about two blocks away. I'm loving having someone to chat with during the day, but especially someone who understands what its like to have TWO babies at once. She's just great.

I've also gotten back into running after about two weeks off. It hurts like hell, but I know I need to push through and keep going. I feel like I've gained so much weight in the past few months and its definitely time to get back in shape. I'm not much of a dieter, but I'm hoping regular running and walking coupled with eating a bit more healthily will help me out. Only problem is my will power. Its non-existant. And its killing me. For example, a couple of nights ago, Mark called from the grocery store asking if I wanted any chocolate for dessert. I said no. And then I said yes. And then I said, "well, maybe just a bag of Maltesers. I'll be good and only eat two with my cup of tea at night." Snort. I managed that the first night, but last night, I decided life was too short and ate half the bag. Sigh. I'm useless.

Chocolate is made with milk, right? Doesn't that make it good for you bones and therefore a MUST for women? Oh, yes indeed ...

How cool that you met a friend with twins just blocks away! I'm excited for you, it's so nice to have someone close by that you can have those much needed "mummy" chats with.(:

Good job on the running and chocolate, life is too short!

I don't like to diet either, I'd rather just work out than have to watch too carefully, because I just love some chocolate at night. It's like a sweet reward after a busy day with a baby boy.

Give those boys some kisses from me. They are looking so big all of the sudden. I love their eyes. Super handsome boys I have to say.(:

Life is too short not to eat chocolate! Go for it! (I can't join in on the America's Next Top Model chat because we don't have Sky yet but it seems like I am going to have to check it out!). I am also excited that you have a new friend and fellow mother of twins - send us a picture of the six of you (eight including the dogs) out for a walk. Have a good weekend Pasc. Elle xx

I must say that those are pretty handsome boys...and their mother is quite a looker as well! I wouldn't worry about the chocolate ;) Great job on the running!
