Movin' On Up In The Bath World - Need Advice

Okay other mummies and daddies out there - what do I do? Owen and Will are getting bigger and bigger and I'm having a hard time with their baths - they're out growing the little infant tub we have for them, but they can't sit up on their own yet, so I figure its too early for the "real" bath tub. Is there an alternative anyone can suggest? Because otherwise they're going to end up being pretty grubby.

Okay, at Walmart, or Target you can find these foam pads that the babies can lie on and they are perfect for that transition stage and I thought easier than the whole infant tub. I may have an extra one I can send you, or perhaps get one for you at Target. They are cheap, just foam pads and the boys will be safe and snug and able to get clean... how fun.
Hope that helps..

Thanks Jenna - I'll have a look here and see if I can see anything similar. I've seen photos on your blog of Natie in the sink...does he like that and is it easier for you?

I've also seen these inflatable rubber ducks that fill the tub, has anyone tried those? I think they look like fun, but don't want to buy it if its going to be a waste of money.

I have no bath advice... but just wanted to say hi :)

Missing you in sunny (finally! after a record snowfall yesterday) BC, friend.

Hey Pasc... and Amber... can't wait to see you!

Pasc, the inflatable duck, we had one handed down to us and it worked great until my larger than normal son out grew it. So, no I didn't think it was a waste of money because you can actually use less water with the duckie and it's great when your boys begin sitting up. Nathan loved it and the sink works great when your husband is remodeling the bath.(:
The sink is bad now, when Natie constantly wants to climb out of the sink and grab everything on the counter. Ah... a stage for everything!
I say yes... to the duckie,
Jenna
