What A Life!

I think I might be the luckiest girl around. I spend all day with William and Owen, the most well-behaved 3 1/2 month olds around. I occaisionally say to Mark "You don't know how hard I work all day!" when I'm feeling tired, but really, I have it easy (just don't tell him I said that). These gorgeous boys smile at me from the moment they wake up to the moment they go to sleep, with only a few meltdowns mixed in to keep things interesting. They play with their toys, they grin at each other, they patiently wait for me to pay attention to them after I've finished blogging about them. They sleep all night (oh yes, folks, we have reached Nirvana!), they nap for at least an hour in the afternoon (sometimes two!) and they always pose for the camera. And they let me smooch their chubby little cheeks all day long. Life is good for this mummy.

Here are some cute shots from today's fun and games.

I finally managed to get outside for a walk with the boys today - its been very very cold here. This is the lakefront path near our house, and you can see that the mighty Lake Ontario is freezing up near the shore. There were some poor little duckies freezing their backsides off out there! Its amazing though, how getting outside for some fresh air makes a world of difference for me. I came home feeling rejuvenated, if slightly sweaty (its hard work pushing a double carriage through the snow). I can't wait for spring to be sprung so we can spend more time outside. I imagine myself getting a Chariot stroller and going for long walks along the lake, bringing bread crusts for the boys to throw at the duckies, and mummy slowly getting fit again thanks to the sunshine and exercise. Either that or lying in a hammock in the backyard. One or the other will do.

What a lovely post...I seem to talk about nothing but your boys since I have come home. I miss them and I miss you! Elle xxx
