What a lovely Sunday we had. The boys are just so fascinating and so well-behaved. They just smile and smile and smile. We do have the occasional meltdown, but it never lasts long and is always followed by more smiles. I tell you, I'm the luckiest girl in town.
We were wondering what to do on Sunday - go for a drive? Go out for a walk? It was a beautiful sunny day, but incredibly cold. I said I'd be happy to just sit and read if the boys were sleeping or happy playing in their chairs. Just a lazy day would be nice. Well I think they heard me. After their 11am bottle, we put them down for a moment on our bed whilst I went for a shower and when I came back, they were fast asleep. Mark and I lay down on either side of them and read our books, ate some lunch and they slept on as the sun poured through the windows. I got a little sleepy too, so I settled down next to Owen. Next thing I know its 3pm, Mark's fast asleep next to Will, Jack is snoring on his bed and we're an hour behind on the next bottle. We had to wake the boys up to feed them so as not to completely throw our schedule off.
The rest of the afternoon was just as lovely and lazy. We had some laughs in the evening as the boys have really taken to staring and smiling at each other. At one point, I had them both in my lap, facing each other and they were reaching out to touch each other's clothes and bibs, as if to say 'Hey, I know that top!' (they share their clothes right now). Will was even laughing at one point when I brought Owen closer to him. I really hope they become best friends.
I've posted some pictures of our family weekend below for you to enjoy.
Will and Owen being silly with Mummy and bibs - I couldn't capture their huge smiles on camera, but it was pretty cute let me tell you.

LOVE the bib hats! Reminds me of a certain "Skinny Labbit!"
And how sweet they are asleep with their heads together.... aaaaaah :)
I'd forgotten about Skinny Labbit! Well it does explain why I keep putting the bibs over their heads like that! LOL.
(For those of you not in the know, when I was but a wee bairn, I was in the habit of pulling my sweaters inside out over my head and holding the arms up like rabbit ears. I would then yell 'Lookame Mummy! Skinny Labbit!" (skinny rabbit - I guess my pot belly was sucked in by the arms up over my head) Weirdly cute apparently.
Actually, looking at the photo of them again (with the bib hats) the interesting thing is that they look identical. It's only the different shapes of their heads that enables you to tell them apart. But once they're covered up, it's a whole different ball game.
I think you're right, I often notice that they look a lot similar with hats on, or in their snowsuits.
Great pictures Pasc... I love the boys sleeping beside each other, they are so sweet. You seem like you have two really well loved, nutured and cared for boys, who seem rather easy going. Good going Mum... I said "mum" for you.(:
Hope you have a great Monday.
