The Stroller

I realised I never put up pics of our new stroller - I still can't find the camera batteries or the battery charger (Dave, did you take it by accident? Or did we leave it at the cottage?) so I've temporarily put in regular batteries. But because they don't last as long as the other ones, I've decided to keep the camera switched off and in my hospital bag so we can actually take pics of the Bobs when they arrive. Not at the exact moment they arrive, obviously, as that would be distressing for everyone involved. Can you imagine if Mark sent out an email to all our friends and family, subject: Photos of new Babies! And when people opened the email it was shots of the babies making their escape? I think there would some severe emotional damage.

But no worries! We're not going to do that to you! heh heh heh.

So, all this to say that I've gone online and copied a picture of our new stroller, the Maclaren Twin Techno in Storm Grey (oooooh, fancy name huh?) and we love it. I haven't gone so far as to walk down the street with it, like my Auntie Julia did when she first got her pram, but I've been tempted. It was only her story of someone stopping her to see the babies and finding - what was it, Auntie J? A teddy bear? - that has made me see the potential for embarrassment. Otherwise I would be out there in a flash! So I make do with wandering around the dowstairs with the stroller and Jack following at my heels. Hey - I'm on maternity leave and I'm getting a little antsy, okay? Anything to make the days go by.

Hey cousin,

I have to say, I really enjoy your blogs. I always get a good chuckle. Your such a wonderful writer. Your mom sent me the link a couple months ago and I check in once in a while to see how you are doing. This one really tickled me. You have a beautiful belly! I am so excited for you and Mark. I can't wait to see pics of the bobs (sans escape route).

Lots of Love,
Erica

O.K. Pascale. You weren't supposed to tell the world about my craziness. I was excited, O.K. You must be very excited. Only a few more days until you are introduced to those little boys. Your life will never be the same (for the better) just talk to your cousine Michael. He is in his element. I know you will have two little munchkins to look after, but everyone I know with twins is ecstatic. One of my buyers has twin girls who are now 3 years old. They are adorable and amazingly, totally different personalities.

Look after yourself
I Love You
