TWO dragons!

Dr. Pettigrew is so lovely. I wish everyone loved their doctor as much as I love mine. She's just so nice and she always takes her time with me and never rushes me and never laughs at my ridiculous questions. And she's pregnant to boot - she's a few weeks behind me and she has the loveliest little bump that is just showing.

The Bobs are good, I heard both their heartbeats, although Bob A wasn't too keen on being listened to and only stuck around long enough for us to hear his heartbeat speed up when she pressed on him a little. He didn't like that so he swam off. Bob B was a little more cooperative. Either that or he was sleepy and couldn't be bothered moving.

My due date is now somewhere around October 12th (does that make you happy Senay?), which is 37 weeks in to my pregnancy and that is what is usually considered full term for twins. However, if they're "presenting" in an awkward way, ie, Bob A is breech or lying horizontally, I will probably have to have a c-section around week 35, somewhere around the first week of October. All of this will be decided by my OB later on, when I see her in week 30 or so. For now, I stick with the lovely Dr. P.

The only other thing to report is that my blood pressure was slightly elevated today. On my last visit I was 120/80 and this visit I was up at 128/80. Dr. Pettigrew asked that I check my heart rate a few times this week at my local drug store (they have those freebie machine near the pharmacy at the back) and if it goes up over 130, I'm to call her right away, because that would be too high. But apparently I'm okay where it is right now. She just doesn't want to see it any higher than that. So, of course, I'm experiencing a few twinges of worry, but mostly I'm staying calm about it all.

Um....I think that's it for now. I have to get back to work. Clients are calling and orders are awaiting. Will keep you posted on the blood pressure front.

PS - If you've seen the 2004 Starsky and Hutch movie, you'll kind of understand the title of this blog. Basically, one of the characters in the movie has a line that says "Twooo dragons!" and Mark has been repeating this line to himself for the past couple of weeks whenever he sees my blossoming belly. Its stuck in my head.
